Simply put, we believe that a community of small groups is the best environment in which students can connect with God and each other in meaningful, life transforming ways.
Our small groups are called ROOTS. The term "ROOTS" comes from Colossians 2:6-7, which says, "just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness."
Everything we do in our ministry points students to connect in a ROOTS group. It’s our prayer and dream that in ROOTS, a student's spiritual maturity will flourish.
ROOTS exists to create a safe place for our students to connect with the Body of Christ, and to help them grow and mature in their faith.
In our world, people are quick to join clubs and form crowds, and everywhere you look, superficial relationships abound. It is our prayer that each ROOTS group becomes a “pocket of community” within our world of powerless relationships.
